HAPPY NEW YEAR and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to us!

It is ForMed's ninth birthday this week, and we are very grateful to have come this far. MANY MANY thanks to all clients, collaborators and team, and to people all over for watching and sharing our films.

2023 was a very busy year, we completed 4 films:

  • Menopause: Cycle of Change - shares experiences and advice from hundreds of women through survey, workshop and interview. Made in collaboration with Menopause support, Bristol Menopause Clinic, The Burdett Trust for Nursing and The National Lottery.  Vote for it in the Charity film awards...

  • Mental Health: Working with Acacia family support, we made a film sharing four dad’s stories around mental health and recovery as a new parent. Directed by our multi-talented friend and composer, Hugh Cowling. You can vote for this too in the Charity film awards!

  • Anaemia -  with The School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine’s Woman-2 Trial team, we made a film to share life saving information about Anaemia and postpartum haemorrhage. This was directed by our super talented Animator, Mara Fradella.

  • Pharmacokinetics - ‘A PK day’  film was made in collaboration with the Penta Foundation, MRC UCL and scientists at Radboud university, clinics in Africa and with a focus group of young people. A PK day is now available in English, Isizulu, Luganda and soon to be released in Dutch.

We are currently mid way through a film about Parent and Infant Relationships, and looking forward to seeing what 2024 holds.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have a project you’d like to discuss with us!
