After a career in commercial animation, working for BBC (Charlie and Lola), Disney (Nina Needs to Go) and Aardman, Emma Lazenby won a BAFTA for a film about childbirth and realising the power of animation for health information, started ForMed Films in 2015. It is a community interest company (CIC) based in the south west of England.
So far we've made 20 films about health, wellbeing and medical processes, working with charities and the NHS to share messages with people around the world.
ForMed is a small animation studio with a director, advisory board and Non Exec Directors. During film productions, we work with a team of incredible freelance professionals, all coming from the commercial animation and film industry, we make films with high production values. Each film is bespoke, made with a clinical team of experts, and usually featuring the voices of real people who share their experiences and advice of an issue.
We are always looking for new projects, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you've got a project to discuss!
