Un petit dodo spécial

Purpose: Showing what happens before, during and after an anaesthetic to help ease children’s anxiety before they have an operation. This commission is a translation and adaption from our film 'A Little Deep Sleep' for use at Montreal Children's Hospital in Canada.

Outcome: Children receiving an anaesthetic in the hospital watch the film as part of their preparation. The film helps them understand what will happen to them and addresses their worries.  The two new translations in Quebecois and Canadian, feature adaptations from the original UK version - with uniforms and locations  and staff voices matching those of Montreal Children's Hospital.

Client: This adaptation was a collaboration with staff and children at Montreal Children's Hospital, funded by the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation.  The original film was made in with staff, children and the sounds recorded on location at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, and funded by The Grand Appeal Charity.
