Working remotely and at ForMed Films studio in Devizes

 

Start date:        

January 2025 for initial 3 month contract

 

We are looking for an Assistant Producer, to work closely with the CEO  to research, organise, co-ordinate, assist with the day to day production of projects and general adminstration. We are looking for the right candidate to join us as a long term member of the team. This is an opportunity to be a part of the ForMed Films team, to work and to help the general public through specialised medical animated films.

 

You will support all aspects of the company’s production.  You’ll be pro-active and creative, with an interest in animation, illustration or graphic design. You’ll have previous experience of working in a research capacity, good at developing external relationships, have excellent organisational and communication skills and a knowledge of the creative production processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

 

Research & Fundraising

  • Setting up and managing surveys

  • Compiling data from interviews and a survey

  • Web research

  • Researching funding opportunities, writing applications, drafting budgets

 

Client Management

  • Contacting clients and medical professionals.

  • Arranging meetings

  • Diary management

 

Animation Production

●      Crew Contracts

●      Overseeing production budget and finance admin

●      Producing production materials - rootsheet, time sheets, shot lists

 

Marketing

●      Managing social media (instagram, facebook, linkedIn and X) and YouTube

●      Updating website

 

General Administration

  • Maintaining online filing systems

  • Managing email inbox

  • Generating client proposals

 

Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Producing and project management skills

  • Excellent prganisational, time management skills and attention to detail

  • Outstanding written, verbal and communication skills 

  • Strong IT skills including proficiency using Mac and Google Drive

  • Understand basic graphic design tools / photoshop / animate / Adobe Creative suite

  • Know how to use Microsoft office/database & spreadsheet skills

 

Knowledge & Experience:

●      Be interested in health and wellbeing, medical education and communication.

  • Be a hard worker with energy, independent ideas and confidence.

  • Have strong time keeping and organising skills

  • An interest in and experience of using social media platforms / YouTube

  • Some experience of animation / producing / graphic design

Terms:  

This post is 2 days/16 hours per week over 4 days (Monday - Thursday) with a 3 month initial probation period.

The paye rate is based on £41,250 pro rata with 25 days annual leave (pro-rata) if this was a 5 day post.
